From the geological point of view, the Egadi islands are closely connected with Sicily; the group of Island is formed by the Islands of Favignana, Marettimo, Levanzo and two other little ones, named Formica and Maraone . The weather is mild in winter and hot and sunny in the summer. The average winter minimum temperature during the months of January and February, is 5 degrees, while the maximum from July to August of 45 degrees.
